Day One Practice + Volley Shots

Day One of double-days have started (Aug.10) which means the season has begun. Hawaii Athletics posted this photo above on their social media of the players practicing in the Stan Sheriff Center.

Volley Shots

Star Advertiser sports writer Cindy Luis who runs the Volley Shots blog will continue to keep us updated with the Wahine Fall Camp practices on her blog. The blog has been moved to hawaiiwarriorworld.com along with other Star Advertiser blogs. Cindy says she will try to take video interviews with her phone (no promises). Day One Updates

Cindy has posted her Day One Practice One update and mentioned some key information so far.

• Nikki Taylor sitting out with a hyper-extended right elbow
• Cleared to do drills that don't involve her injury
• Ali Longo (Hawaii '12-'13) and James Ka (Pepperdine '02-'05) are volunteer assistants
• Previous volunteer assistant was Kaleo Baxter
• Digging and Serving drills done
• Little bit of setting drill done for setters with Ah Mow-Santos
