MPSF All-Academic Selections

The 2014 MPSF All-Academic Selections were announced and the Warriors had five members listed. Seniors Joby Ramos and Johann Timmer, junior Taylor Averill, and sophomores Sinisa Zarakovic and Kolby Kanatake were all given this award. Of the twelves teams who received, Hawaii had the fourth most (5) behind Stanford (9), UC San Diego (8), and BYU (6). Congrats to all who received.

Requirements for All-Academic Selection:
1. 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average.
2. Student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically.
3. Student-athlete must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is being received.
4. Student-athlete must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in his or her respective sport.

  2. Kyra Goodman according to UH is transferring. She's listed under 2013 recruits and 2013-14 redshirts.

    1. I believe Kyra has just left the team and will just be returning to UH as a student, unless something else came up.

    3. I think she has a back problem. The current roster has 8 returning players and with the 8 known players expected, that's 16, the lowest number in recent years.
