Guinasso and Kahakai Go for the Gold

The 20th AAU Junior Beach Volleyball National Championships took place on July 13-14 in Hermosa Beach, California. At the event was 2014 indoor/sand recruit Gianna Guinasso. She partnered with her friend Mary Hernandez and they won the gold.

After winning in Hermosa Beach, they flew to Honolulu, Hawaii to participate in the 2013 AAU Pan Pacific Championships which took place at Queen's on July 20-21. Along with Hernandez and Guinasso in this tournament was Savannah Kahakai who is a 2014 indoor recruit. Kahakai partnered with Faith Maafala and they took the gold while Hernandez and Guinasso took fifth place.

  3. For the fans who didn't know, Savannah Kahakai from Farrington High is as 808 noted on the right column, a 2014 recruit to play Libero on scholarship, yes a rare offer from Shoji for a backrow player.

This is a much better alternative to the Diggin' na Wahine blog which also has a lot of information but oh my God the writing on that site makes me want to tear my hair out and the guy seems like a jerk on Twitter. Like someone said, keep blogging :) Can tell you put a lot of effort in your posts.

      Also interesting that John Cook,Dave Shoji and Ben Jay communicate with them,maybe you're the jerk ?
